August 11, 2014...Unsigned Only Music Competition

has announced its 2014 finalists, and a total of 150 finalists have been selected out of almost 8,000 entries from over 100 countries. An annual music competition, Unsigned Only honors the most talented up-and-coming, unsigned artists throughout the world. Winners are selected by a high-profile, prestigious panel of judges, including Neon Trees, Of Monsters And Men, Rosanne Cash, John Oates, Dustin Lynch, Black Francis (The Pixies), Robert Smith (The Cure), Mike Posner, and many more. Winners will be announced in September, 2014.

2015 West Australian Country Music Awards - Press Release

2015 WEST AUSTRALIAN COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS 
ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN 

Calling ALL WA Country Music Artists – please hop onto the Country Music Club of Boyup Brook’s web site www.countrymusicwa.com.au  and enter the prestigious 2015 WA Country Music Awards. Categories are Best Group, Best Male Artist, Best Female Artist, Best Independent Single, Best Independent Album, Best Video Clip, Best Songwriter, Best Emerging Artist and Best Junior Vocalist so there is something for everyone.
Entries close at 5pm on 30th September 2014, and the Finalists announced for all categories by the end of December 2014. The Winners will be revealed on the evening of Friday 13th February at the 2015 Boyup Brook Country Music Festival where the Finalists of the Best Junior Vocalist and Best Emerging New Talent will be invited to showcase their talents on the main stage, followed by performances of the Winners of the Best Group, Best Male and Best Female artists.
 
The WA Country Music Awards, which began in 1986 will be celebrating 30 years in 2015, a very significant milestone, and once again present everyone involved with the opportunity to pay recognition to these artists and celebrate their many achievements. 
For those considering entering it is worth reminding you that by doing so you have the unique opportunity to showcase your music and talents to our professional judges who herald from many states in the nation, and who are very experienced in the country music industry.
 
Please find attached an entry form. Please remember, the closing date for all entries is 30th September 2014, so start preparing your entry materials now.
