Procopy's Perth Soundstage can accomodate orchestras, choirs, bands and ensembles of any kind. It is unique in Perth, with over 70 sq m of air conditioned, sound-proofed and optimised studio space.
With 5.5 metre high ceilings, the space can accomodate scenery and elaborate lighting for audio-visual productions.
It is served by two professional quality recording studio suites. and our video suite for hands on Foley work.
The studio offers:

The Sonic Lab
This specialist facility is used for recording (voice & music), CD mastering, audio restoration and forensic audio enhancement. This enables Procopy to provide a range of services from its Perth recording studios.
Audio Recording
A world class Soundstage provides a controlled environment for music and voice recording, for broadcast & digital mediums, CDs and DVDs.
Audio Restoration
Stereo No-Noise processing for de-noise, de-click, de-crackle, frequency analysis and complex filtering. This enables the unequalled-quality audio repair and restoration of tapes, records, reel to reel or microcassettes.
Transcription
From microcassette and digital mediums, the Sonic Lab can improve audio quality remarkably.
Music Compilation & Editing
High quality sample rate conversion and vari-speed, time-twist and pinch shift help to make music editing simpler and more creative; typically for dance shows, commercial promotions, body building, aerobic, gym or fitness routines.
Pro Music Editing
For music purists and professional artists, complete CD prep and PQ coding with Sony super-bit and turbo-bit mapping software for signal re-dithering combined with comprehensive EQ and Dynamics software at the mixing panel.
Pro Audio Mastering
There is an art and science to effective CD Mastering to 'Red Book' standards. While many systems claim to produce Masters, few do it properly. Common problems are clicks between the tracks, Masters that are "track at once" or "multi-session" or Masters with audible or operational errors. CD Analyser
This is part of Procopy's Mastering process or available to check the integrity of Masters produced elsewhere.
The error report should accompany the CD master through the disc replication process to ensure the best reproduction. Analysing your audio Cd master effectively will help the CD copying process proceed without delays. Most CD software programmes do not analyse the quality of the burnt disc adequately and sometimes give false positive results and are only capable of a basic verification process.
Digital archiving
Procopy is able to digitally capture, process and archive content from analogue (Vinyl, tape, video tape) and digital mediums.

The Soundstage Control Room
A second A/V Control Room is used for recording (bands, choirs and artists), mastering and electronic (MIDI) music creation and available for "dry hire" if you want to record a band, drums, choir or other acoustic sounds in a great audio environment.
