There's many lively discussions about high quality audio, whether the difference can be heard or perceived or is even necessary.
Convertor technology, recording equipment and microphone design continually get pushed to the limit as manufacturing techniques and chip technology continue to improve and desire to go the extra mile is forstered by recording engineers, artists and manufacturers.
