CD & DVD Artwork Specifications
The artwork specification depends upon:
- the way the discs are created (whether burned or replicated) and
- the method of printing.
For complex graphic design, we strongly recommend that you use a qualified designer. We have inhouse creative designers at ProCopy that know the correct specifications and output requirements for CD & DVD artwork to get the work done quickly.
As artwork preparation is often left to the last minute it can often delay a project if the time to complete it and a proof is not taken in to account.
If you have further questions please call or click the Contact Us link above.
Our recommendation is to start the artwork process around the same time you start recording your music project rather than leaving it until the recording process is almost completed.
We also have a large library of completed CD and DVD projects to show you in our office if you'd like a clear idea of what can be achieved with the artwork and packaging options available. Also there are a number of artwork ideas in our ProCopy Digipack and Cardsleeve gallery
