A 'package' comprises disc, paper parts (literature) and case.
A CD Jewel Case (Jewell Cases sic) has a front, back and spine insert. Front inserts may be a simple card, a folded brochure, a folder poster, or a multi-page booklet.
This is by far the most common way to package CDs. Digipak cases are growing in popularity, and printed card sleeves are used in many CD-ROM projects.

Digipak® is the brand name of a special CD case. The cover is made of 15 pt. SBS paperboard, and the inner tray that secures the CD is made of clear or opaque plastic. Minimum quantity of 500 applies. -
CD Jewel & Slimline boxes - click for options (4)
A three-piece plastic case, measuring 142 mm × 125 mm × 10 mm, which contains the CD with (generally) the liner notes and a back (tray liner) card. Click here for dimensions -

CD Sleeves (Jackets) are constructed with 12 pt. cardboard, with multiple pockets if needed. Minimum quantity of 500 applies.
